Our annual trek to Yosemite, this year with Ken Rockwell, was enlivened with a serious snowfall on our first full day at the park. And I enjoyed playing with an app on my iPhone, "Hipstamatic," which offers a plethora of effects in conjunction with the iPhone's excellent camera. (All the Hipstamatic images are at the end of the gallery, in the square format.)

For this trip, I used my Nikon DSLR, the aforementioned iPhone, and my Panasonic ZS7.

I hope I can conduct the same trip next year, and do so in the company of people as pleasant and as interested in photography as this year's participants.
