September 21, 2005 - The Kiss (It was a foggy morning along the Central Coast of California. It had been foggy even at the top of Black Hill, above Morro Bay. The sun silhouetted a pair of photographers who did not care, for the moment, that the mist behind them began to melt away.)
September 22, 2005 - Crab Legs for Dinner (A sea otter dines on crab in the little harbor at Morro Bay. It's often difficult to come close enough in the wild to these adorable creatures (adorable unless you are a crustacean) but this one was unconcerned as it swan and ate lunch just yards off one of the fishing boat docks.)
September 23, 2005 - Stay! (While our photo group waited for the fog to clear below Black Hill, a local hiker and her dog arrived at the summit.)
September 24, 2005 (Monkey Flower and Spiderweb, near Morro Bay.)
