Maple Leaves (Photographed from our picnic table, outside Degnan's Deli, at Yosemite Village)
Dogwood at the Ahwahnee Hotel
Dead Cemetery Flowers (Even the cloth flowers have wilted at the Pioneer Cemetery. Few people know of the cemetery's existence, although it lies close to the Visitor Center.)

Glass Plate Photography - Fern Spring (Robert Szabo uses 19th century technology to make photographs. With his view camera and portable darkroom (in the back of his mini-van), he can create a photograph in less than five minutes. Here he displays a photographic negative of Fern Spring, on a glass plate. The photographer's hands are stained with the chemicals he uses to coat the glass and develop the image.)
Fern Spring ("The Smallest Waterfall in Yosemite." Fern Spring is perhaps two feet high.)
Reflection at Bridalveil Fall (One of the three photography workshops I conducted employed bicycles to explore the flat floor of Yosemite Valley, including a stop at Bridalveil Fall. Three views of the fall are visible in this one picture. Btw, the "model," Dirk, was very nice to let me photograph him up close and personal, with a wide angle lens essentially shoved in his face - it makes for an interesting picture, but it doesn't look anything like him.)
Rainbow at Bridalveil Fall (In May, there are special times to view various waterfall rainbows. This one is visible from the parking lot at Bridalveil Fall.)
Coyote (Low light necessitated a slow shutter speed - with marginal camera support, the lack of a moving shutter in my digital camera helped me photograph this coyote near the Bridalveil Fall parking lot.)
Black Bear (This was the only bear I saw during my visit to Yosemite. Black bears (there are no grizzly bears in Yosemite or California) are essentially harmless. I prepared to move a little closer, but the bear (it was just off the road and not far from Bridalveil Fall, and seemed to be licking ants off a fallen tree trunk), ran off when a noisy human approached too quickly.)
