We had a terrific time making photographs on our Image Quest photography tour, just as spring slid gently into summer along the central coast of California. We enjoyed a diversity of subjects, from landscapes and seascapes to wildflowers and wildlife. Our group of photographers meshed nicely, too.

I scouted this beautiful road the day before the trip "officially" started, on my bike. There were some amazingly steep grades I had to conquer before I was rewarded with some stellar views from on-high, including this one (photographed a few days after my ride).

Having purchased a copy of Lolita, by the amazing Vladimir Nabokov, a little earlier in the day at the Henry Miller Library, it was impossible not to make this photograph of a couple enjoying their day in the sun.
