We once again made our annual journey to the east side of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, where the colors of autumn were at their peak.
Ken Rockwell - of kenrockwell.com fame - graciously accepted the role of co-leader; his seminar on our first night opened some eyes, including mine (and helped lead me to my new-found passion with the camera in the phone).
With or without a camera phone or a DSLR, we photographed the aforementioned fall colors, the tufa towers of Mono Lake (where we enjoyed a canoe ride, compliments of the Mono Lake Committee), as well as the ghost town of Bodie. Some of my photographs from the long weekend are, I think, among my most creative, in no small part because of the company of enthusiastic photographers with whom I traveled.
We'll do it all again next year - check here for updates on the workshop schedule.
